Lewy Body Disease or Lewy Body Dementia or Dementia with Lewy Bodies - what's the difference? The terms sound similar, but they actually have different meanings. Lewy Body Disease is the umbrella term for a group of diseases, which includes Parkinson's disease and Lewy Body Dementia, and Lewy Body Dementia includes Parkinson's Disease Dementia and Dementia with Lewy Bodies.
