I read about 50 books a year and 20-30 peer-reviewed research articles. Here were my 8 favorite articles I read in 2024.
So many great insights and gems - about methods to empower and comfort individuals on a dementia journey; proactive lifestyle changes we can make; and hope for all of us.
I usually stay focused on research within the past 10 years, but I also included one earlier research piece about the agency (independence, choice) of individuals who are on a dementia journey.

In 2019, my husband began experiencing symptoms of Dementia, which was diagnosed in 2021. Among his severe symptoms were Hallucinations, difficulty walking and agitations. His meds only provided temporary relief, so we decided to try other approaches and started the Neuro X treatment program from uinehealthcentre.net. With the help of this therapy regimen, he have seen significant improvements in his walking, the hallucinations have totally stopped, and his memory loss has greatly improved. He’s able to speak clearly and walk down the street and back since starting the Neuro-X program.
