Practical Tools for Professionals and Caregivers
We’re excited to bring an AMI Certified Montessori for Dementia, Disability & Ageing (MDDA) Workshop to St. Louis this July — a rare opportunity to learn directly from the internationally recognized Montessori approach to dementia and ageing.
St. Louis MTCSL Workshop
Monday & Tuesday | July 22–23, 2026
Montessori Training Center of St. Louis
What makes this workshop different:
AMI was founded by Dr. Maria Montessori herself in 1929 to preserve the integrity of Montessori philosophy and practice internationally.
The MDDA approach applies Montessori principles to ageing, dementia, and disability support in practical, evidence-informed ways that promote dignity, independence, purpose, and connection.
Participants leave with tools they can immediately apply in senior living, healthcare, therapy, home care, or while supporting a loved one personally.
AMI’s MDDA trainer community is intentionally small and internationally trained, making workshops like this uncommon in the United States.
I’m honored to teach this workshop as an AMI Trainer in Training under the mentorship and supervision of Anne Kelly, Head of Montessori for Dementia, Disability & Ageing for AMI and one of the leading voices in this work internationally.
